Scope:
Phase 1A of the PHX Sky Train™ includes construction of the train guideway
from west of Terminal 4 underneath Taxiways Sierra and Tango, elevated
over Terminal 3 South Concourse to the new Station.

Status:
Phase 1A – Construction is taking place from the west side of Terminal 4
through Terminal 3 on the continuation of train guideway and Terminal 3
station. Demolition of the existing Taxiway T for the train underpass continues
with the taxiway to remain closed through early July for construction.
Taxiway Sierra underpass also progresses beneath the reconstructed
taxiway bridge with shotcrete wall work.   Guideway construction activities
include approach ramp retaining wall work and guideway deck construction
along the elevated portion of the guideway.   Relocation of the Terminal 3
South Mechanical Penthouse is near complete which allowed the train
guideway construction to proceed over the south concourse.   Preconstruction
activities for the next GMP which consists of modifications to the existing
Terminal 3, and Terminal 3 to Terminal 2 walkway also continues.
